Sounds of Imani is a contemporary gospel recording duet/group bringing a fresh sound to contemporary gospel music. The duet consists of husband and wife team, Gerald & Carol Ervin, who are better known as one of the hardest working couples in indie music. The enjoy performing with their backing band and have performed at various venues locally and nationally. Sounds of Imani is a 2018 Kingdom Image Awards nominee; 2018 Rhythm of Gospel Nominee; 2018 Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards nominee; 2017 Texas Gospel Music Excellence Award (TGMEA) winning artist in the category of New Artist of the Year.
